There were moderate NE winds with frequent gusts today at Lighthouse Park, New Haven. Notable among the 357 total raptors were 95 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 148 Cooper's Hawks, and 16 Northern Harriers. Seasonal migrants also included American Pipits, Rusty Blackbird, and Purple Finches. Full reports are on HawkCount and eBird. Tomorrow brings lighter NE winds and fewer migrants are expected.
