In case people who might look for the Lewis's Woodpecker at Santee Lakes around Lake 6 have any difficulty, right now in the early/mid-afternoon warmth and breeze it is taking a snooze in the shade on a limb of one of the cottonwood trees that is over campsites 2 and 26.
