456 passage migrants were counted today at Lighthouse Park, New Haven. Among the 13 raptor species were 47 Osprey, 22 Bald Eagles, 17 Northern Harriers, 160 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 105 Cooper's Hawks, 44 American Kestrel, 16 Merlin and 10 Peregrine Falcon. Other migrants included Dickcissel and late Purple Martin and Eastern Kingbird. 8 Common Nighthawk headed NW towards the end of the day. Tomorrow may bring more of the same with steady, moderate NE winds continuing.
