Manhattan, N.Y. City - Tuesday, September 30 -

A bright Prothonotary Warbler has been seen and photographed by many at Central Parks north end by the Loch, on Tuesday.

At Madison Square Park in downtown Manhattan, a Connecticut Warbler has sometimes shown very well for multiple observers continuing on into Tuesday.

At the Number 3 Bryant Park plaza near Bryant Park -given the name of giant telecom co which begins with V- a Yellow-breasted Chat was not too tough to observe, and a Dickcissel was also being seen there for Tuesday.

A Sora also had continued on at 1114 Sixth Ave, another small plaza in midtown Manhattan.

There are many many more migrant birds for the final day of September.
...
Over at Randalls Island just east of upper Manhattan, no one was able to re-discover the weekends Arctic Warbler amazement, although a slender chance remains that that bird had lingered.

Thanks to hundreds of observers and photographers for recent finds, alerts, and reports.

Good birding to all,

Tom Fiore
