Subject: Brown Pelican Huntingdon county
om the way home from Ohio I stopped at Lake Raystown to see the BRPE at Lake Raystown Huntingdon.
This is the second one ever that we know of at lake Raystown.
It can be seen by driving into the Aitch Access Boat Ramp area.
Walking from the parking lot to the lake, look to the left at a large tree in the water across on the opposite shore. It looks like the tree that it is sitting in so it can take a short while to make it out with binocs. There have been Double-crested Cormorants on the tree with it.
