This past weekend was the annual (or so) Pennsylvania Society for Ornithology Annual Meeting/Festival in Allentown, Lehigh County.
It was a great meeting with interesting presentations and field trips to great destinations. It's always nice catching up with birders from across the state. Weather was great too.
And after most, if not everyone left to travel home, a Western Kingbird was found in the county late in the afternoon yesterday! Oh well.
Next meeting will be in Blair County in Altoona next June for breeding birds. Hope to see you there.
