Hello, all,

This Sunday, October 5 is our field trip to Curwensville Lake. It is about one hour from State College. You might want to carpool. If there are enough interested people, I can arrange a place and time to meet in State College. Please let me know.

Jerod Skebo, a Curwensville resident and former Shaver's Creek Environmental Center employee will lead a walk of approximately 1 mile through various habitats to search for birds. Additional birding areas are in the park for those wanting to extend the walk. Meet at the beach parking lot. Wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring binoculars and spotting!
