Last evening I did a nice drive in golden dusk light to see if I can get a "photo lifer" of a Buff-breasted Sandpiper. I scoped one bird foraging actively far away in the open grassy areas of Kibler bottoms, off Crawford Road. Too far for a photo. So was the robust Swainson's Hawk perched on the ground.
