Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Alder Flycatcher continues Sunday
On Sunday morning, the Alder Flycatcher finally appeared at its usual spot in the southeast corner of the cemetery at around 7:35 a.m. But remained only fairly briefly. It started farther northeast along the fence line, worked its way through the usual ice plant area, and continued southwest into the beginning of the mayoporum trees. Didn't stay very long on this first pass. While waiting for the bird to appear, Charlie Jackson spotted a female American Redstart working the same line. Pewee continues here as well.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
