Hello all -
At 10:35 this morning a late female Ruby-throated Hummingbird visited my Colonie yard. I was fortunate to have had my Canon Power Shot superzoom camera handy which allowed me to get satisfying photos of the bird at our red Dipladenia. This is the latest I've ever had a hummingbird in my yard.
Two Blue-throated Vireos, a Black-throated Green Warbler, and a couple of Cedar Waxwings at 7:30 were a good start to the day.
