Subject: Field trip on Saturday
Hello, all,

This is a reminder about our field trip to Centre Hall tomorrow. See details below.

Andrew and I were there this morning, and we were treated to a spectacular sunrise and 27 species of birds, including 3 Lincoln sparrows.

There is a sign at the entrance to the trail head (see attached photo) located on rt 192 approximately 1 mile northeast of Centre Hall.

The field and trail were a little muddy this morning, so consider appropriate footwear.

Saturday, September 27, 7:30 am - 9:00 am
Centre Hall, James Cleveland/Ray Decker Trailhead

Trip Leader: Andrew Bechdel

This field trip will introduce you to birding in and around Centre Hall. The location offers a variety of habitats, including goldenrod field, forest edge and forest interior within a short distance from the parking area. Migrants we hope to see are blackpoll warblers, Swainson's and gray-cheeked thrushes and Lincoln sparrows. If birds are not plentiful here, we may move to Penn's Prairie Park, located nearby.

Meet at the parking area for the trailhead to James Cleveland/Ray Decker Trailhead on Route 192 (Lower Brush Valley Road) approximately 1 mile northeast of Centre Hall. https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmaps.app.goo.gl%2F7WaLQ6TKD7dEa3YF7&data=05%7C02%<7Cscbirdcl...>%7Cdef196c5372a4c4b511208ddfd0ee603%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C638944962676049792%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=i3pE635N%2Blq6TreLqVOmx9VDnyfWCprM8VyDLl4%2BLvo%3D&reserved=0
