Subject: [ia-bird] Historical record question
Years ago we had a barn owl at our house. I didn't keep records back then,
so I don't even know the exact year, let alone the month. I currently have
the date as January 1st, 1900, bypassing the ebird review process and
making the sighting viewable only to me. Since (as far as I know) it is the
first county record, should I report it publicly even though I would have
to estimate year, month, and date?
