Haim Weizman and decided to do a hawk-watch at Mt Soledad and were there from approximately 10:30-1. I even brought portable chairs.
The BWHA was already past us at 11:45 when I noticed it (didn't know what it was) and hit the panic button, barely enough time to get some marginal photos as it flew fairly fast and high overhead southbound, slightly west of the peak. The family of ravens was sort of chasing it, but not as determinedly as they were going after the RTHA at other times. We thought this might be something good and have just had an opportunity to conduct a review of the photos on large screens and are now posting.
