Hello all,
After a drought of rain and little presence of Killdeer, Pa furnace Rd has seen an uptick in Killdeer activity this week. This morning there are currently 4 American Golden Plovers present. Could be more as the day progresses. They were observed in the fields on the left as you crest the small hill.
As reminder, if you do visit the road the landowner ask that birdwatchers do not block flow of traffic and park off to the side. All fields have been harvested so there is no active machinery in the fields.
