11 new species were added to the list for August, which brought our list to 258. The new species were Common Tern, Gray Flycatcher, Parasitic Jaeger, Pomarine Jaeger, Long-tailed Jaeger, Red Knot, Baird's Sandpiper, Arctic Tern, Phainopepla, Sooty Shearwater and Scaly-breasted Munia.
