It had a scaly pattern on its neck and breast, and dark spots on its wings. The bill was pink with a dark tip. The feet were bright pink."

- Comments: "Waterthrush - brown above, whitish and streaked below, strong light supercillium, tail bobbing walk. Quite vocal with chips but mostly pretty difficult to see; did collect some cell phone audio. At one point it perched up on a horizontal eucalyptus branch and walked along it for a few seconds. Otherwise mostly down in areas hidden by dense tules at north edge of pond (approx. 34.44293, -119.84849)."
