Weather: Cloud-cover rapidly increased from 50% to just shy of 100%. Rain was clearly in the offing, but held off during the watch. Wind SW, going W late, 3-8 mph. Temperature 67-72 F.
Raptor Observations: Zero Broad-wings (no surprise there). We recorded our first migrant Turkey Vultures (4) this season. Not counted as migrants: 2 Turkey Vultures, 2 Bald Eagles, Red-shouldered Hawk.
Non-raptor Observations: Northern Flicker, Blue Jays (ca. 100 migrants), American Crow, Common Raven, Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, American Robins (3 migrants). Warblers: American Redstart (m), Northern Parula (2), Magnolia, Blackpoll, Black-throated Blue (m), Yellow-rumped (2).
