Weather: With a southerly wind blowing steadily around 7-9 mph,and winds gusts 15-18 mph, the birds were catching thermals to gain as much altitude as possible before streaming off. Just before day's end, the skies clouded up as rain began to come into the area.
Raptor Observations: Slow start with only locals showing up until noon, then it picked up slightly.
Non-raptor Observations: Lots of Chimney Swifts, Tree Swallows, Blue Jays and Dragonflies.
Predictions: Tomorrow will be warm with temperatures in the 70's and 80's, light winds mostly from the south.
