Weather: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy towards afternoon. Mild temps 70's. Winds 2-low teens mph with SE winds to SSE as the day went on and when rain shower hit around 2:30 NW winds. Rain occurred north half of valley and sun shown through clouds in southern part of valley.
Raptor Observations: 83 total with a nice variety. 5 BE, 10:50 ad, 11:09 ad, 4 BE in west 11:52 , 1 ad, 2 unk age, and 1 went north. All very high. 9:30 Peregrine falcon flew over head.
Non-raptor Observations: At least 40 plus lantern flies killed and they were everywhere. Blue jays, chickadees, red bellied wp, chimney swifts, tree swallows, nuthatches, ravens, mourning doves, spice bush and tiger swallowtail butterflies,40 monarchs.
