The attached pic of what I am calling an immature Red Shouldered Hawk landed across the creek from us while we were enjoying a most pleasant evening a few hours after the Autum Equinox. As the hawk appeared 25 or so wood ducks we were watching scattered but returned a few minutes later with the hawk still in the same place. The RSHW seemed like he could care less about the ducks, and I was able to get this shot capturing the hawk and autumn colors.
