With a Northerly wind until mid-morning I was hopeful for some birds to drop into the olive grove. Seventeen bird species were captured including four new species for the season: Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warbler, Blue Jay, Song Sparrow, and Vesper Sparrow. Vesper Sparrows are beautiful. There are still a few stragglers of Western Wood-Pewee, a nice looking adult male Western Tanager, and MacGillivray's Warblers around.

*Recaptured Hermit Thrush from Saturday- gained .7gram of weight*
The Banding station will be open tomorrow @ sunrise until noonish. Stop by and share your sightings.
