Subject: [COA-contact 714] Trying to return Lost field guide

Hi,

This is a really big long shot, but there is a big internet effort right
now to try to locate the owner of a field guide found in Florida
(Everglades) in August, that looks like it has been well used for decades
with tons of notes.

(There's a reddit thread here with the story and pics:
https://www.reddit.com/r/birding/comments/1nlyc3o/help_me_find_the_owner_of_this_lost_birding_book/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1
)

There was a very specific entry from CT (72 Sedgwick Ave in Darien,
apparently) and many nearby items that led us to believe Connecticut might
be the place of origin. The person is likely older, given that some records
date back to the 70s.

We'd dearly love to see the person reunited with their lifelong work. Just
passing this along in case it might be a member of yours!

Regards,

Justin Bower
