Subject: [slocobirding] Here they come!
Both adult and 1st year White-crowned Sparrows are returning to our yard for the fall/winter in good numbers. Heard a WCSP singing yesterday for the first time this season. A little song left over from the breeding grounds perhaps? 😊. Anxiously awaiting the FOS Golden-crowned Sparrow…. any day now.

Warbler visitors have increased slightly in number with a few more Yellow Warblers, Orange-crowns and Townsends arriving as expected. Had a brief visit from a Nashville Warbler this morning was seen as it peeked out from within a nearby bush.
