- Comments: "Female. Small hummingbird with snowy clean white throat with a bit of an "Adam's apple" bulge under the chin. Catching flying insects at the little park on the top of the hill connected to the trail."

- Comments: "Found within the willows while passing through on paved maintenance road in Oceano Campground. Bright orange patches on wings and sides. Fluttered in the brush and trees, frequently perching."

It had a sharp warbler bill. The face was was pale. No sign of any chestnut anywhere. Merlin picked up and ID the Chip, but no photo. Good looks for about one minute before it flew back over the lagoon."
