Yesterday while hunting for the redstart, I heard a chestnut sided warbler, but could not pin it down. I went back this morning and found the bird foraging high in the Willows at the end of the lagoon where it meets the Ranger compound. It was an immature, bird, very pale gray, with a distinct white eye-ring, and green upper parts. The bird was present for about one minute before it flew back over the lagoon. No sign of the redstart but lots of warbler activity. The lagoon trail is still flooded.
