I lived there for six years and you're correct that it can be great during
fall migration, especially following a NW wind. Park just north of the Town
Hall. The small parking lot there can be very productive. Generally, we
would work the boardwalk south to the Duck Donuts and north to the Duck UMC
chapel and the parking lot behind the chapel. Working that entire area from
the sound to Duck Rd is my recommendation.
