169 visitors. Thru hike with trail name of 'Shotgun.'

Weather:
Blue, hazy, cloudless skies all day. Morning winds 8 mph East North East
changed to East winds mid morning. Temperatures warmed from 58 - 74 F.
Visibility 20 to 25 miles

Raptor Observations:
Bald Eagle: 1251(i), 1350(a),1351(a), and 1413(a). Peregrine Falcon 1224.
Local pair of Red Tail hawks loitered in the bowl. Aggressive Red Tail
stormed the dead tree on the South Lookout - unsure if it was attacking it
(perhaps looking for the decoy owl) or trying to land, and then chased
Turkey Vulture into the bowl.

Non-raptor Observations:
3 separate lines of migrating Cormorants ( 12, 40, 15), flock of Blue Jays
observed at the North Lookout, 5 Common Ravens, 2 Hummingbirds, 1
unidentified Warbler, American Goldfinch, a Walking Stick, and plenty of
seedpods, "Penny Steelers," floating in the wind.

Predictions:
Cooler temperatures than today, 55-72F; cloudy skies throughout the day.
Generally, winds 5-8mph with gusts to 15 from the East. Visibility 20
miles.
