With some nice weather conditions overnight, I made the trip out to the OP with Ethan Monk. Below is a summary of some of the migrants and vagrants from the day. Overall, the day was filled with many eastern migrants, but the overall numbers were very few, as seen below. With his permission, I have also included some birds observed by Ethan.

Solitary Vireo (most likely BLUE-HEADED VIREO ): An extremely bright and contrasting bird seen foraging in the ines. Lots of photos to be added to eBird by many.

MOURNING WARBLER (Ethan discovered this bird after my departure; he told me it was actively foraging and calling around the Drakes Monument. Another birder was able to grab audio recordings.) Ethan will add lots of details to eBird in the coming days.

Inverness Tennis Courts

TENNESSEE WARBLER (another HY-type associating with warbler flock along the main road)
**
**
Not mentioned above, but large numbers of Black & Say’s Phoebes were also present, with 2-4 individuals at all sites.
**
**
Overall, a very lovely day – hopefully some of these birds stick around tomorrow for folks to see!
