Subject: [Ohio-birds] Warren county - Mounts
I had wanted to hit miller ecological park, but they had an event there! I just
“Love” that….. plan B - mounts. I don’t know that area for migration in the
Morning. I do now! The path that parallels the Little Miami and the bike path. I was
In the park not the bike path. Anyway, highlights - and I had limited time! And
Lost time heading to Miller first……

Baltimore oriole - I haven’t seen in awhile.
Black throated green - new for my big year. And the county! 6 other warbler
Species. Phila. Vireos. Etc. and I didn’t have much time! Next time I will park
Closer to that area even.

Birds migrate over a large front, but they do get funneled by geography.
I haven’t figured out these river corridors. Yet. I don’t think birds fly
Down the rivers at night. But sometime when they are done the big migration
Flight, they look for feeding and resting areas. And find the river areas with
Their riparian edges. I think!

Good birding all.
