Raptor Observations: BE- 1:03I, 1:12I, 4:40A
Tough skies and little wind made for a slow day on the ridge. Thousands upon thousands of lantern flies making things just that much more difficult ! We did manage to get on some birds today and had a nice little push of raptors moving thru between 4:30pm-5:30pm which included the following: BE(1), SS(7), AK(3), ML(2), BW(1) Our Bird of the Day selection goes to the morning Sharpie that came at us almost thru the trees in front of the watch site to make a quick pass at the owl decoy before heading down ridge. It never gets old !!
