Weather: Pretty day. Sky mostly sunny with enough cumulus clouds to make for excellent viewing conditions. The temperature reached 80°F. Winds started northerly and shifted to the west through the day.
Raptor Observations: A slow day for Broadwings on the Piedmont. We had a good variety of raptors but in low numbers. Most were flying very high.
The usual locals included a juvenile and an apparent pair of Bald Eagles along with the usual variety of other raptor species.
