FWIW- The COMMON TERN was last seen by Alex, David A., Norm, and myself flying out of the harbor headed south at around 12:30. Earlier it was seen on the rocks on both sides of the harbor and aerial diving for fish in the middle of the harbor. It seemed not to associate with the many ELEGANT TERNS flying nearby, Most of the time it was a little overcast and foggy especially the further out to sea, but David, Norm, and Alex were able to point out PARASITIC JAEGERS giving chase to the terns out in deeper water. It was really fun to get to see them picked up and followed so skillfully! It was eating well, so hopefully the COTE will be back later.
