Observers: Bob Hall-Brooks, Juliette Herdman, Kitty Bradshaw, Liz Kent,
Mike Jaber, Noel Herdman, Patrick Tomlinson, Steve Wagner

Visitors:
Big thanks again to Bob, Mike, Liz, Kitty, Noel, Juliette, Patrick and
Steve for helping out with the count. We welcomed three school parties to
the tower, guided by Emily. It was good to see John and Linda on the tower
again. A few other visitors also enjoyed the view and birds from the tower.

Weather:
Wind light from west, some hazy cloud clearing in afternoon. Hot, reaching
30c just after midday.

Raptor Observations:
A Sharp-shinned Hawk (503) day today, with them making the majority of
raptors seen. Northern Harrier and all the falcons were also seen today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Nice little mixed flock of warblers and vireos seen on the willow in the
afternoon. The Blue Jays are starting to ramp up with 8,550 moving west
today. The list is at https://ebird.org/checklist/S274102806

Predictions:
The moderate wind is forecast to have a northerly aspect until midday.
Mostly clear skies again with the temperature at a max of 24c. Hopefully
the Northwind will bring a few Broad wings to the tower.
