This was after a Buff breasted Sandpiper chase at east fork - Clermont county.
It was found yesterday by Nate or Mike. Both bird there regularly - which is
A key to finding stuff there! Clermont bird for me! It was really
Cooperative - scope not needed!
Got to east fork riparian in Clinton late. Plus the fact it was much further from
East fork lake than I thought. Quiet. Had a few warblers. Only one new for the
Year was a BT Green.
A highlight was young road at Caesar creek. Finally, some mud for shorebirds!
Lesser yellowlegs and solitary sandpiper in addition to the loads of killdeer.
I think the border between Warren and Clinton is near here, so I will check my
DeLorme and see what county the shorebirds were in.
I checked the beach at ceaser creek. Nuttin……..oh well!
I won’t be back up here til Monday. Unless something to chase!
Clinton is 170 for the big year. 190 for life.
Ode notes - I had no success chasing Eastern ringtails yesterday. But a fantastic
American Rubyspot show! Always something. This was in Miamisburg.
Good birding all.
