- Comments: "Brown dove with massive white stripe in wings and white outer tail tips. Flight feathers and tail feathers black contrasting greatly w white. Much more contrasty than ECDO. Pics."

- Comments: "I spotted this large Buteo circling above the ag fields to the south of the entrance road. The hawk had long wings and showed a pale whitish area on the upper surface of the wings toward the base of the primaries, and it showed a whitish rump. Below it was pale overall and lacked the dark patagial bars of Red-tailed Hawk. It flew off toward the dunes south of the estuary. Distant photos"
