Subject: Yellow-billed Cuckoo Today
For the last couple days, we’ve had a couple warblers and migrants each day, but no big numbers. We’ve also had small flocks 10-15 of Cedar Waxwings.

Today we had:
Nashville Warbler
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Magnolia Warbler
Red-breasted Nuthatch

In late afternoon, we had a brief storm move through. We really need a good rain, but not to be today.

Afterwards I noticed a couple warblers in our river birch: Magnolia and Nashville. When I went outside, there were quite a few robins flying around, some of which flew into the river birch.

But then I noticed a larger bird, which was a Yellow-billed Cuckoo! Nice surprise.
