Later this morning, I stopped by the Hollister Tech Park on my way to Ellwood and found both Northern Parulas, with the help of the Hanson, Kerns, and Levasheff contingent. I then went to COP/Sands Beach via the Ellwood trail that goes between NCOS and the Elwood Bluffs. Lynn Scarlett joined me after a few minutes, and we walked west on the beach until we found the continuing Red Knot in a mixed flock of Sanderlings and Black-bellied Plovers.
