Raptor Observations: Given the favorable wind direction and date, a disappointing tally; only the late arrival of a lone kettle of 36 Broad-wings offered any solace. Not counted as migrants: 3 Turkey Vultures, 2 Bald Eagles (adult and juvenile), Red-shouldered Hawk, Broad-winged Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk.
Non-raptor Observations: Northern Flicker, Red-eyed Vireo, Blue Jay, American Crows (3), Black-capped Chickadee, Gray Catbird, American Goldfinch. Warblers: Black-and-white (f), Tennessee, American Redstart, Cape May (first-fall f.), Northern Parulas (3), Magnolia, Black-throated Blue (m), Palm, Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green. Monarchs: 28.
