Subject: [sbcobirding] Goleta Tech Park Sept. 14
No show on Northern Parula(s) this morning, even with several birders looking for a couple of hours. There was a real influx of Wilson's & Yellow Warblers in the Western parking lot section.  Maybe 10 "yellow" birds total, plus Orange-crowned Warblers, a Townsend's Warbler, a couple of Western Tanagers, and more common birds.
In the Eastern parking lot trees, I found Wilson's, Black-throated Gray, and Orange-crowned Warblers, as well as an Empidonax Flycatcher that was probably a Western.  Several Western Tanagers were enjoying the abundant crop of Catalina Cherries around the northern edge of the parking lot.
