Weather: Partly sunny day with a light easterly breeze and temperatures ranging from 10-16 C.
Raptor Observations: Another good day for sharpies, broad-wings, and Cooper's. Migrants were often high overhead, streaming by in small groups. Highlights included a small kettle of Broad-wings right above Pack and a close Cooper's Hawk that flew low near the plastic owl Gina.
Non-raptor Observations: Local ravens, eagles, and vultures often circled nearby. Ruby-throated Hummingbirds: 3/44 Monarchs: 10/90
Predictions: With similar weather in the forecast, along with a northerly wind, we're hoping to see migration continue to increase. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Kate McKay (<northernjay444...>) Pack Monadnock Raptor Migration Observatory information may be found at: www.harriscenter.org
