Weather: Mostly lower clouds early, slowly lifting & mostly clearing by end of day. Light NE winds. Good visibility.
Raptor Observations: Light liftoff of BWs 9-10am, likely went above clouds upstream. Light day of raptors until they were dropping out for the day. The fallout started about 3:15 and lasted an hour. 1613 BWs in increasing large kettles, some right down the ridge, others off to the south. The last non-stop group was the largest, 791, a kettling stream that lasted 10 minutes. Then it ended abruptly. Stayed another 15 mins with no birds at all. 1684 BWs for the day pushes us into a new season record of 8318 with likely a few good BW days yet to come! A nice mix of other raptors today as well!
