Subject: Red Slough Bird Survey - Sep. 9

It was partly cloudy and warm with a light wind on the bird survey today. 62 species were found. Wood Storks have finally showed up. I did fair on migrant Passerines early on before it got warm. Black-bellied Whistling Ducks were starting to stage on Pintail and Lotus lakes. Here is my list for today:
