10:30 to 1:30. Two different counties. And I need to figure out what one small
area is. Clinton or Highland. I had a nice flock there by the Little Miami! In the
Walnut trees. Anyway highlights briefly - Ovenbird, BT Blue, BT Green, least
Flys, Swainsons Thrushes. Etc. plus the usual - Black and White warblers,
Redstarts, bay breasted. Etc. it was kind of slow. Please note my timing
However! One Song sparrow??!! Won’t know final Clinton numbers for
Life and year til I figure out that one section. I was told across the creek
Is Highland, so I never hit this one area so far. But I think this is across a tiny
Side creek, so who knows! I'll check the Ohio DeLorme.
Butterfly notes - loads! The usual fall bugs.
Odes - none! Too cool?
Good birding all.
