At times, Bay-breasted Warblers are the dominant warbler in more thickly-wooded areas of central PA in the fall and that is happening now. I counted 11 yesterday in Rothrock SF of Huntingdon Co and 19 today in Moshannon SF of Centre Co, but there were so many that I'm sure that I didn't count them all.
As Bay-breasted Warblers are a spruce budworm warbler, this may reflect an ongoing budworm infestation in eastern Quebec.
