Thought it was worth posting the 200+ Red-necked Phalaropes seen on both lakes. The lake was otherwise pretty quiet, with 26 Ruddy Ducks, 4 White Pelicans, 1 Great Blue Heron, and 2 Grebes, one Eared and the other possibly Horned--it was quite dark over most of its body, excepting underparts. The bill appeared a little heavier than the Eared's.
