Observation start time: 09:00:00 Observation end time: 15:00:00 Total observation time: 6 hours
Official Counter: Chris Pugliese, Tom Bush
Observers: Tom Bush
Weather: Cloudy all day, by afternoon, it went from mist to rain and back to mist in the 2:00 to 3:30 time period. Winds NE at 10 to 12 all day with temperatures holding in the 60's made for a chilly watch
Raptor Observations: In this weather, they were not very active. Locals: BV, TV, Red-tail, CH and an adult BE.
Non-raptor Observations: Some Tree Swallows and Chimney Swift two flocks of Canada Geese equaling 79 total
Predictions: The rain should be out of here, leaving some cloud cover, temperature from upper 60's to 80. Winds NW 5 to 7 mph may push some birds towards us for a change. The ridges did well again, but there are still some sites in New England getting Broadwinds in decent numbers, so there is hope for us yet. ======================================================================== Report submitted by John Mercer (<mercer1135...>) Rose Tree Park information may be found at: www.rtphawkwatch.org
