Very specific pale gray head and chest with darker wings and yellow at the base of wing. Long tail with black band at the end, black down the center and sided with bright yellow. Two of us saw the female American redstart at Sepulveda Basin in the recent past and both ID'd independently that this bird was also a female Am. redstart. Very surprised to see it on the island. Tried to get a photo, but we weren't the group with the photographers."
