Weather: Clear skies became partly cloudy in the afternoon. Light and variable winds, mostly southwesterly. Warm
Raptor Observations: The best flight so far this season. Highlights included 18 Ospreys, 4 harriers, and 13 sharpies. Only 3 broad-wings. A few kestrels and merlins. The migrants were low for the first few hours then the flight became high and overhead in the afternoon.
Predictions: Tomorrow: A few clouds early, otherwise sunny. High 86F. Winds light and variable. Probably similar to today. Our broad-winged hawk numbers remain low, though significant numbers went through the PA ridge sites today.
Monday: A mix of clouds and sun then cloudy. High 83F. Winds ENE at 5-10mph.
