- Comments: "Smaller term, black hood with white crown exposed, gray wings with contrasting charcoal scapulars. Small orange feet, mostly black bill with some lingering orange as it’s transitioning into a nonbreeding stage. In flight, white below. Wings bright white blending into gray towards the distal end."

Seen with several other birders. Black-and-white striping on upperparts, less contrasty striping on underparts; white throat with pale grayish auriculars and lores."

Seen with Nick Lethaby, Adrian O'Loghlen, Pamela Viale, and Eunice Schroeder. This warbler-sized bird had bold black-and-white stripes over most of its body. Its white throat and paler cheek suggest it was a female or immature."
