Weather:
Sunny then cloudy. Light northeasterly winds. Warm

Raptor Observations:
A good mix of raptors but relatively low numbers. Highlights included 5
Ospreys, 11 sharpies, 5 kestrels, and 2 merlins. Only 3 broad-wings. Most
migrants were high and difficult to spot, though the afternoon clouds
helped.

Non-raptor Observations:
Morning hike: Philadelphia Vireo, Swainson's Thrush, Magnolia Warbler.

Hawk Watch: 13 Wood Ducks, Common Nighthawk, Double-crested Cormorant,
Philadelphia Vireo, 2 Common Ravens, Lincoln's Sparrow, 5 monarchs

New species for season: Wood Duck, Swainson's Thrush, Lincoln's Sparrow

Predictions:
Tomorrow: Cloudy. Slight chance of a shower. High 74F. Winds NE at
10-20mph. Decent conditions overall, but easterly winds are usually not
favorable for us to get broad-wings. Clouds will help with spotting.

Wednesday: Cloudy with occasional rain showers. High 69F. Winds NE at
10-15mph. Chance of rain 50%. Gloomy conditions may hold back the flight.

Thursday: Cloudy early then partial clearing. Winds NNW at 5-10mph. Decent
conditions. A day to keep an eye on.
